Lisa is the Legal Practitioner Director of National Costing Lawyers (one of our affiliate firms) and a Legal Costs Consultant at QICS.
Commencing with QICS in 2014, Lisa is an invaluable member of the team with a personable approach and extensive knowledge and in-depth understanding of legal costing. She possesses an ethical and honest demeanour and is highly regarded by her peers. She is an experienced costs consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the legal and financial services industries.
Lisa’s legal costing expertise covers notices of objection, responses to objections, and general submissions in support or resistance of security for costs applications.
Prior to joining QICS, Lisa spent most of her career as an in-house governance professional in the financial services sector where she developed her corporate governance and company secretarial skills.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Bond University) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (QUT). She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Queensland in 1998. In 2009, she completed a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Company Directors Course.
Lisa holds memberships with the Queensland Law Society and Chartered Governance Institute, is an associate of the Governance Institute of Australia, and a secretary of the Allisee Body Corporate Committee.
Away from the office, Lisa spends her time appreciating all the Gold Coast has to offer with her beautiful family. When enjoying a bit of me time, she can be found with her head in a great book or sweating it out on the netball court.
