As a driven and tenacious individual, Gary spent 23 of his formative years in the Royal Australia Air Force, and then the Royal Air Force. The majority of his time was spent serving as an officer within the logistics and administrative branches where he developed his leadership and problem-solving skills. His postings took him to every state and territory in Australia as well as overseas in Malaysia, England, and Wales.
As a person who loves to dot the i’s and cross the t’s, Gary was attracted to legal costing due to its precise nature. He spent the first 13 years of his legal costing career at Law Costs Pty Ltd. In 2009, Gary and Law Costs joined forces with his brother, becoming the QICS regional manager based in Toowoomba and bringing with him a wealth of experience and invaluable knowledge.
In his long legal costing career, Gary has built a strong reputation for reliability and credibility within the industry and has forged strong working relationships with regional and metropolitan lawyers alike.
Gary is dedicated to his profession and loves to give back to the community, often donating his time presenting to local law associations educating lawyers on best practices and keeping them abreast of changes in the industry.
Gary is a past president of the Rotary Club of Toowoomba East, is a current member of the Toowoomba Middle Ridge Golf Club, and Toowoomba Turf Club. He is a devoted family man and enthusiastic traveller. When not spending time with his loved ones, he can be found cheering on the horses, sharpening his golf swing, and participating in fitness pursuits.
